Sage and Pepper's Musings

Life through the eyes of two German Shepherds and their staff.

Pepper’s Galactic Adventure: A Pup’s Journey to Space

Poor Pepper. There she was, enjoying the peace and quiet out in the grass and cleaning her lady bits, when there was this odd buzzing in the sky and the next thing she knew, she was flying.

She was vaguely aware that her friend the fishy was getting further and further away from her, but she wasn’t worried – Pepper loves adventures.

At first she was a bit suspicious of the breakfast the aliens served her, but it actually was quite good and although their kibble was a bit multi-coloured for her liking, the odd tubes turned out to taste like chicken. The aliens has been very welcoming to her and she was not scared at all.

Of course, her “captivity” involved a “health check” to make sure she was safe and didn’t bring on board any parasites, fungi or diseases. She passed the exam with flying colours and a large number of belly rubs!

At first her accommodations seemed a bit odd to her, however they were spacious and comfortable with a lovely soft mattress. The aliens often came by to see this curious Earthling. But she was not afraid, and they often brought her treats.

Soon, it was dinner time and she was given the alien version of the royal treatment. A delightful three course meal came with more of the colourful kibble, what appeared to be steak of some sort and of course, a giant carrot. Apparently on their home world, the giant carrot is revered as a delicacy.

After dinner, they beamed up Sage so that they could travel back to the space port for their trip back to Earth. The aliens had been so nice, and Pepper was sad to leave her new friends, but was happy to see her sister again and looking forward to being back home with her humans.

Finally, Pepper and Sage were beamed back to Earth and all the aliens on the craft came to wave goodbye to their new canine earthling friends.

Home at last, Pepper just had to get online and write a blog post about the friends she had met and her great adventure. She looks forward to them coming back to visit.
