Dedication to the job

Every dog needs a reliable servant, and as it happens, Sage and Pepper have two. Until recently both servants have been distracted by this excuse they call “work”, however one has just announced that they are “retiring”.

I’ll let you guess which one it is, but a clue is that it has less hair than the other.

So what now? Extra walkies? More brushing? I would like to think more drives in the car with my silly sister.

Right – more rubbing of this belly. That’s what I think when I hear a human say “retirement”. Retirement is German for “more belly rubs, please”. Or French. I forget which one.

So, this is my expectation, going forward…
