The hairless one wants to mount the TV to the wall. Only hitch is that it has a ceramic tile covering the fireplace surround where the thing is going to be installed, so that complicates things. Having procured some tile drill bits, he’s off to the races.


Sitting over coffee, he had the bright idea (I call this the “once in a decade event”) of having Claudia go into the attic and retrieving a spare replacement tile to practice with. That done, he got to work.
And it actually worked. No splitting of the tile and not even a single curse word….



The resulting hole perfectly accommodates the big screw that Sanus use for their TV mount that screws into the centre of the stud.
It’s going to be an entertaining weekend!
