Great time in the UK so far. Had dinner last night with my cousin and aunt I’ve not seen in 15 years and spent today with them again which was absolutely lovely. I have three culinary aims for this trip – fish and chips, an English breakfast and a curry. Two of the three have been ticked off. Angela’s cats are very entertaining (Luna, the ghostly grey cat is a complete lunatic kitten).
When I got to ManchesterI got my hire car, a nice green tractor. Unfortunately I parked it as this lovely farm shop (https://farmercopleys.co.uk) at lunch time and someone replaced it with an Audi Q2. The horror! In the farm shop, they had all manner of lovely fruits, veg, meats, breads and local beers and spirits. Black Garlic Beer, anyone?
Arrived this evening in Manchester at the Hotel Football, a Marriott property right next to the Old Trafford football ground where I’ll be for the match tomorrow.

That’s it for now.
